A 90 min. of Fort Worth’s Cultural District, highlighting the work of four leading architects in three world-class museums: The Amon Carter Museum of American Art designed by Philip Johnson, the Kimbell designed by Louis Kahn and Renzo Piano, and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth designed by Tadao Ando.
The tour will discuss the district’s history and the development of these museums, and how each architect responded to the challenges Fort Worth’s unique environment to create buildings that embrace the landscape while providing shelter to artworks and visitors– an oasis of art.
